Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026

Nico uses cloud speech-to-text and cloud AI to work. That means audio and text do leave your device during a session — we're upfront about that rather than claiming otherwise. This page explains exactly what is processed, what is stored, and for how long.

What we collect

What we do not store

Third-party processors

To function, Nico sends session audio and text to:

These are the providers we use today; we may change providers over time as the product evolves, and we'll keep this page current if we do. None of these providers receive your payment details.

If you're on a call with someone else

If you use Nico during a call with another person, their voice is processed the same way yours is — sent to the providers above to generate a transcript. You are responsible for having the right to record or process that call under the laws that apply to you, including obtaining consent where required. Nico does not verify this on your behalf.

How long we keep things

Your choices

Security

Stored data (like your résumé) is encrypted at rest. Session audio is transmitted over encrypted connections.
